Consistently seen 11:11 or 2:22 on the clock? Or an insane amount of cars with triple numbers on the licence plates? This is my jam! I live for this $#!%! So let’s talk about it.

coincidences are for suckers

If you have magical, rare, unexplainable, high-vibe things happen to you and say “well ain’t that a coincidence”, please accept this virtual slap upside the head. In my professional opinion, coincidences aren’t real.

Personally, I have experienced way too many things that are out of the blue, mysterious, exciting and statistically, mathematically unfeasible to believe the “random” acts of meticulous alignment could be anything other than a sign of universal order.

Real talk: I have been obsessed with signs and synchronicities for many many years. It’s my religion. I’m serious! For me, the feeling of excitement and alignment is unparalleled.

Worst case scenario it’s a ton of fun to get lit up by this sort of serendipity. It heightens your vibration and keeps you susceptible to the magic of the Universe. The more you notice the signs and the more you appreciate them, the more you’ll receive – so pay attention!

what are the chances?

For years I have been bombarded with triple numbers. It’s not uncommon for people to see 1:11 on a clock or a licence plate with a triple number in it. Now, if you’re thinking “well yea, it’s 1:11 twice a day, and there are millions of cars on the road in this world”, let me tell you this: It’s not about the clock or the cars – it’s about the Divine timing.

Why did you just “happen” to look at the clock at that time? What guided your neck to turn and see your oven clock with 2:22? Out of all the millions of cars on the road, what made your eyes shift to the one car with VTX 888 on the plate?

I believe there is a Divine Universal force that likes to show us that we are on the right track. When we’re in alignment with ourselves and our purpose, we are open to receive confirmation in this uncertain world. I don’t know about you, but it keeps me going!

I have more stories about this than I can count, but this is one of my favourites:

I was living in San Diego, but was visiting home here in Canada and working with my brother Jeff doing some landscaping for the week. I wasn’t in the best spot in my life – everything was great on the outside but I just didn’t feel like myself. Doing hard-ass manual labour wasn’t my favourite thing, but it was nice to feel productive.

Jeff and I were talking about triple numbers earlier in the day, as they had always been a major sign for both of us. I was mentioning that I hadn’t seen as many triple numbers as I usually had. I blamed it on my funky vibe and the fact that I wasn’t driving as much in California so the licence plates couldn’t speak to me (ha!).

Here’s the real “holy $#!%” moment: I was digging in a random patch of grass in the middle of a random field. My shovel hit something hard, presumably a rock. I dug down to unearth the mystery item and when I saw what my shovel hit I just about defecated in my pants.

No joke: There was a bright yellow tag with the number “111”. Like…. What? My shovel just happened to hit this triple number that was buried beneath the grass under a foot of earth in the middle of a random field? Must have been a coincidence, right? ;)

I still can’t believe it. I kept this tag to remind me of that magical moment.

realtime magic

This just happened and it blew. my. mind. Remember a few weeks ago when I wrote about my love for the movie Sister Act II: Back in the Habit? I mentioned a moment where Whoopi Goldberg’s character gives a speech to a young girl named Rita: “Honey, if you wake up and all you can think about is singing, then you’re supposed to be a singer!”

This past weekend I was out for dinner and someone tapped on my shoulder. It was a new Vortex client who has been coming to the studio, I’ll call her M. M said “sorry to bother you but I had to tell you this!” – Buckle up, this is WILD.

So M applied for a new job as a reiki practitioner and didn’t get the gig. She then said to her partner “you know what? I love singing and I feel like I’m supposed to use my voice to help heal people”. She wakes up every day thinking about singing!

She then told him how one of her favourite movies is Sister Act II and then referenced that powerful moment of “Honey, if you wake up and all you can think about is singing, then you’re supposed to be a singer!”

Her partner had no idea what she was talking about as he’d never seen the movie. Oh well.

The next day she received an email from a place called Vortex Wellness Studio that not only referenced that movie, but that exact moment she had just been talking about! What are the f!@#$in’ chances!?

Seriously. What are the chances that a young singer gets an email from a wellness studio of all places that randomly mentions, not only that specific movie from 1993, but that specific moment! If that doesn’t give you chills, go check your pulse.

M – you made my night – and you’re supposed to be a singer, honey!

I could write about this all day, but to spare your scrolling finger, I’ll end here… for now.

Okay wait one more story!

Recently another Vortexer who is an actress was anxiously awaiting news on a part she’d auditioned for. I told her to hop in the Somadome and do the “manifest” meditation because it’s super powerful. 20 meditative minutes later she left the studio, and when she got to her car in the parking lot she got a call from her agent that she’d gotten a call back. Then she booked the role. How fun is that?
